A. Maintenance Inspection (appraisal of Building Component) – We carry out an inspection and provide a report on any building element you are concerned about. These could be walls, roofs, heating systems, disposal systems etc. The report will provide an assessment of the condition of that element and indicative costs of its repair. It will also indicate what other associated cost may be involved to obtain planning permission (if necessary), or any other statutory Typically we visually inspect the roof (or other building element) to assess its condition. If this appears unsafe or has hard to access areas, we use specialised pole cameras to inspect it and its components, such as chimneys, flashings, guttering.

B. Five Year Maintenance Plan – We can provide condition appraisals to identify age-related failure of building components, with a view to producing a costed maintenance plan. Our maintenance plan will address priorities for maintenance activities to enable you to budget for repairs. The plan will provide an assessment of the condition of the main elements of your property and the indicative costs of its repair. It will also indicate what other associated costs may be involved to obtain planning permission (if necessary), or any other statutory approvals. Our report will include an estimate of: The condition of your building element and its life expectancy; The approximate cost of replacing or repairing the building element; The priority for its repair in relation to other necessary works i.e. we indicate if the roof may need replacement before other building elements.

C. Development Appraisal/Feasibility Report – We can provide feasibility appraisals to provide indicative costs of development, be that a refurbishment or alterations. Our report will also indicate what other associated costs may be involved to obtain planning permission, or any other necessary statutory approvals.
